Clinical Operations Trainer
Remote Opportunity

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop and deploy e-learning and in-class training programs for new hires, current employees and external customers
  • Updating and maintaining training course material for medical record abstraction and data entry (HEDIS, RISK, IVA)
  • Reviewing training test scores and sending feedback if necessary
  • Reviewing reports daily for QA scores during the season(s) (abstractors, coders, HPs)
  • Create and host online trainings (live, virtual, eLearning, webinar)
  • Provide continuous feedback to leaders regarding training trends, course material feedback and additional training needs
  • Provide in depth analysis of training issues and create an action plan to set up company for success
  • Ensure collaboration among cross functional teams for the roll out of product releases
  • Additional duties as necessary to meet the obligations to our clients

About You

  • Current Coding Certification (CPC, CPC-P, CPC-H, CPC-I, CRC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA etc.) through AAPC and/or AHIMA
  • Minimum of 2 years coding experience with specific knowledge of Medicare and Commercial Risk Adjustment such as Hierarchical Condition category (HCC)
  • 2+ years of training and development experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Travel as needed
