Full Contact Coaching based in Ottawa, ON & Orléans, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Crop farm labourer – harvesting. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Student status: Full-time enrollment, Part-time enrollment
Type of crops: Apples, Asparagus, Bell peppers, Blueberries, Cabbage, Carrots, Cherries, Cucumbers, Garlic, Grapes, Orchard fruit, Raspberries, Strawberries, Tomatoes, Berries, Sugar beets, Vegetables
Own tools/equipment: Gloves
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to farm fruit and vegetable combination, and other vegetables and melon farming (except potato)
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors, and hot area
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to pick row and orchard crops, hoeing crops, grading
- The candidates should be able to stone and/or wood picking
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, weeding
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to fertilize and spray crops, deleafing, fruit trees training
