Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of client work from start to finish
- Work in collaboration with our Accountants, Senior Accountants, vControllers (virtual Controllers), vCFOs (virtual CFOs), Clients, Partners and Administrative Team
- Month End Close Management – review of coding transactions, reconciliations using QBO
- Use Karbon to manage workflow and job tasks
- Oversee workpaper support for monthly financials with Adobe DC, Smartvault, and TicTie Calculate
- Manage Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable using Bill
- Oversee payroll processing and related tasks using third-party payroll services such as ADP
- Assist in establishing payroll protocols with new clients, if needed
- Manage the work of Accountants
- Financial Statement Review
- Budgeting, Forecasting, Cash flow analysis
- Monthly financial review meetings with clients
- Any tasks required within the scope of work for clients
- Ensure client work that is being performed is within the scope of the engagement letter
- Administrative tasks as assigned by management
- Attend all team and client team meetings as needed, typically during normal business hours

We are looking for professionals with the following qualifications to join our fully remote team:
- Position requires (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree
- Must have an active CPA license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a CPA
- Minimum commitment of 20 hours per week
- Small firm/business experience
- Experience overseeing/managing others
- Proactive communication
- Financial Statement Analysis experience
- Financial Statement Advisory experience
- QuickBooks/Online experience preferred
- Tax background a plus
- Availability to work during normal business hours
- Must become QBO ProAdvisor certified before work will be assigned
- Requires a Windows-based computer with MS Office Suite, high speed internet, telephone and Adobe DC subscription or higher
