Salary: $15.20 hourly 35 to 50 hours per week

Type of product: Aquaculture — algae
Type of fishing: Clean and repair mussel collectors, Mussel socking and harvesting
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Oyster
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be flexible
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers, spread and dry marine plants
- The candidates should be able to operate, maintain and clean pumps, filters and other aquaculture equipment, feed aquaculture stock
- The candidates should be able to drive tank trucks or supply trucks, dig shellfish from shellfish beds
- The candidates should be able to cull, mark or tag stock and report stock irregularities, clean, sort and pack shellfish, clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
- The candidates should be able to assist aquaculture technicians in the operation of fish hatcheries or other aquatic farms, grade and weigh aquaculture stocks
