F.C.H. Limited Partnership o/a Econolodge Fox Creek based in Creek, AB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Hotel front desk clerk. F.C.H. Limited Partnership o/a Econolodge Fox Creek. offers beautifully decorated guest rooms along with a host of modern full-service amenities. Whether traveling for business, leisure, an intimate gathering, or a large event, our hotel has everything to meet the needs of people including an on-site restaurant, lounge, bar, room service, meeting space, and more! The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $15.25 hourly 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: 
Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: The candidates should have own transport
Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and should be a repetitive tasker

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus and should have excellent oral communication

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to Register arriving guests and assign rooms, Process group arrivals and departures
  • The candidates should be able to take, cancel and change room reservations, provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • The candidates should be able to process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments, maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
  • The candidates should be able to follow emergency and safety procedures, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • The candidates should be able to handle wake-up calls, provide customer service
