Summary

Anaconda is seeking a talented HR Generalist Contractor to join our rapidly-growing company. This is an excellent opportunity for you to leverage your experience and skills and apply it to the world of data science and machine learning. 

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Acts as a liaison for matters related to the day-to-day workflow and operations between HR and other core business units, including Benefits, Payroll, Finance, and IT.
  • Update internal office demographic documents such as address doc, organization chart, life events, new employee spotlights, etc.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and maintain all onboarding presentations
  • Maintain a high degree of HR data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Manage our HRIS (Rippling) and identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
  • Process and manage HR documentation, including onboarding documents, employee agreements, employment verifications, etc.
  • Work closely with our People team to ensure organizational changes are updated across systems in a timely manner

What You Need:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist within a fast-paced tech environment, required
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail – you rarely make errors and always learn from the ones you make
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software Rippling

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience working in a open-source or data science-oriented company
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Experience working in diverse and multicultural environments may be preferred.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and regulations relevant to the jurisdiction of the organization.
