Position Overview:
Crossvale is seeking an experienced Integration Developer with Mainframe experience to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in integration development using JavaScript, with exposure in key mainframe technologies such as CICS, COBOL, and copybooks. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining application integrations for our clients to ensure the efficiency and reliability of their systems.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain JavaScript integration services and components.
- Understanding of web services, networking, and integration principles.
- Work with various mainframe technologies, architectures, and components such as CICS, COBOL, regions, files, queues, and copybooks.

Develop components to integrate with HostBridge APIs to facilitate seamless communication between mainframe systems and other platforms.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective API integration.

Collaborate with teams working on different technology stacks for integrated solutions.

Identify opportunities for system and application performance optimization and implement enhancements.

Ensure the security and reliability of mainframe integrations through regular testing and updates.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, APIs, and integration processes.

Ensure that coding standards and best practices are followed.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience (minimum 3-5 years) as an Integration Developer.

Exposure to and familiarity with mainframe technologies, including CICS, zOS, COBOL, regions, files, queues and copybooks.

Experience with FIS Systematics and HostBridge are a significant advantage.

Ability to work within a team, good communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Systematics Core Application Knowledge and Experience (GN/TS, IM, ST, RM, AM, etc)

Systematics API Business Module programming

TS Native Transaction Processing knowledge, plus Transaction Build Record (TBR), Input Control Record (ICR) and Transaction Control Record (TCR)

Systematics Data Dictionary (DAGs and Elements)

DAG-based messaging (Systematics Service Delivery, TouchPoint or Web Services)

HostBridge knowledge and experience

Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, .Net/C#
