Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience leading and facilitating business and financial analysis

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be excellent in financial acumen
  • The candidates should be equipped with strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • The candidates should have a proven ability to positively interact and communicate at all levels of management and staff
  • The candidates should be self-starters with attention to detail
  • The candidates should have strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • The candidates should have working knowledge and experience using TSYS, Moneris, Epsilon, and Host Capture, considered as an asset
  • The candidates should have knowledge of the Payment Card Industry, which is an asset

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to analyze daily settlement for CTC merchants, including variances
  • The candidate should be able to participate as a team member on key strategic projects impacting CTB, including CT Retail, Party City, PartSource, Petroleum, Mark’s, and FGL Sports, as it relates to the settlement of credit card, debit card, gift card, and loyalty transactions
  • The candidate should be able to act as a Subject Matter Expert in all Merchant Settlement related projects
  • The candidate should be able to prepare and maintain documentation and department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • The candidate should be able to work with new initiatives/process changes, update SOPs and train the team as required
  • The candidate should be able to analyze reports for financial integrity to the General Ledger (G/L)
  • The candidate should be able to should analyze and prepare month-end accruals and provide explanations for variances
  • The candidate should be able to analyze and prepare the monthly reconciliations, including year-over-year variances
  • The candidate should be able to support the Supervisor and Manager in the review of CPO evidence
  • The candidate should be able to analyze, investigate, and process chargebacks and document retrieval requests on credit card sales meeting service level agreements
  • The candidate should be able to collaborate and negotiate with CT Merchants on chargebacks
  • The candidate should be able to analyze PayPal Settlement and Chargebacks processes
  • The candidate should be able to educate CT Merchants on card processing procedures to reduce chargebacks
  • The candidate should be able to provide support in updating PPG (Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines)
  • The candidate should be able to be the escalation point of contact for Merchant Settlement Reps
  • The candidate should be able to do other duties as assigned
