Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Employer’s home, work in employer’s/client’s home, and relocation costs covered by employer
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking individuals and able to maintain a scent-free environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach, show initiative in their work, and exercise good judgment
- Additionally, the candidates should be organized and reliable
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
