What We Need
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Lifecycle to drive Maisonette’s retention strategy across platforms, with an emphasis on the company’s app, email, SMS and Direct Mail. In this role, you will work closely with the growth and product teams, reporting directly to the Head of Growth. An ideal candidate is a supportive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high impact and cross-functional work environment. The top candidate will be a self-starter who independently and consistently seeks opportunities to improve retention metrics, generate revenue opportunities, run effective A/B tests, and enhance the customer experience across the board at Maisonette.
What You’ll Do
- Drive lifecycle marketing initiatives from concept to execution across Maisonette website, email, sms and app.
- Build a personalization and segmentation roadmaps, and coordinate with growth, data, product teams and external partners on implementation.
- Own overall content strategy and collaborate with cross functional partners across merchandising, creative, integrated marketing and product teams to improve customer engagement and revenue across email, sms and push notifications.
- Identify and execute marketing initiatives, retention programs and funnel optimizations to increase customer LTV by moving customers up on the engagement ladder.
- Develop strategies for key marketing decisions based on analytical problem solving, e.g. quantitative and qualitative consumer insights, rigorous testing of different retention strategies, customer experience feedback, demand projections, and cohort health / lifetime value.
- Build an experimentation framework across customer touchpoints and run effective A/B tests to optimize effectiveness and productivity of retention channels
- Manage any key marketing partners or agencies
About You
- 5+ yrs hands-on experience managing email, sms and in-app communication programs; DTC, Retail experience is a plus
- Proven track record in building, launching and scaling personalized retention programs.
- Experience in closely collaborating with data, product, creative and merchandising teams to running effective content strategy across customer touchpoints
- Strong strategic, analytical thinker with outstanding verbal and written communication skills that support the ability to distill complex information into compelling narratives.
- Ability to prioritize and tackle problems that vary in size and complexity and set departmental deadlines based on a broader understanding of company objectives
- Solution-oriented approach to problem solving that is grounded in data-based decision-making; does not “boil the ocean” to find answers to questions
- Ability to develop, test, and potentially implement hypotheses based on specific analytical inquiries and strategic objectives
- Ability to work well independently and in close collaboration with teammates
Salary + Perks
- $115,000 – $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience
