Wayback Burgers based in Winnipeg, MB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Staffing co-ordinator. Wayback Burgers is renowned for its gourmet burgers and classic American fare. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic mail, MS Excel, and MS Word 
Security and safety: Criminal record check

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should have a keen attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication
  • The candidates should show flexibility in their approach to tasks and be highly organized
  • The candidates should demonstrate reliability in their work and be effective team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to identify current and prospective staffing requirements, analyzing organizational needs for recruitment
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and post notices and advertisements, attracting potential candidates to available positions
  • The candidates should be able to collect and screen applicants, reviewing resumes and applications to shortlist qualified individuals
  • The candidates should be able to advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, providing necessary information
  • The candidates should be able to review candidate inventories, assessing the pool of potential hires for suitability
  • The candidates should be able to contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, facilitating the selection process
  • The candidates should be able to co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, ensuring a fair and thorough assessment
  • The candidates should be able to advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, providing guidance on recruitment matters
  • The candidates should be able to determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulations
