Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Work setting: Warehouse, Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience: Dollies and hand trucks, Pallet lifters
Computer and technology knowledge: Inventory control software, MS Excel
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be familiar with performing repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, be physically capable of demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling, stand for extended periods, be accustomed to tight deadlines, and handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, demonstrate dependability, and have excellent oral and written communication
- The candidates should be flexible, organized, reliable, and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods
- The candidates should be able to maintain an internal record-keeping system, route goods to appropriate storage areas, and unpack received goods
- The candidates should be able to affix identifying information and shipping instructions, oversee the loading and unloading of goods, provide customer service, record incoming stock, and count, weigh, or sort unpacked products
