Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting for a leading Packaging & Manufacturing company located in Ahmedabad, India. Our client is looking to hire a HR Business Partner to join their team. This role aims to facilitate human resources decision-making processes for managers, including fostering positive employee relationships, recruiting new talent, overseeing daily HR operations, and assisting company management in strategizing for growth. Additionally, it spearheads safety program initiatives within the facility.

– Collaborating closely with management and employees to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and amplify productivity while addressing retention issues and ensuring compliance.
– Managing and resolving intricate employee relations matters by conducting comprehensive and impartial investigations.
– Identifying training requirements for business units and providing executive coaching when necessary.
– Participating in the evaluation and oversight of training programs to ensure their efficacy, with subsequent follow-ups to meet training objectives.
– Maintaining an updated understanding of legal obligations pertinent to daily employee management, mitigating legal risks, and ensuring adherence to regulations. Collaboration with the legal department as necessary.
– Administering day-to-day HR policies and programs encompassing recruitment, interviewing, applicant tracking, personnel records and reports, compensation, FMLA administration, and benefit management.
– Overseeing health, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance,etc
– Managing the safety program, including documentation maintenance, work-related injuries program administration, and OSHA logs and reporting.
– Providing oversight for the company’s safety program.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– Five or more years of relevant work experience, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
– Knowledge on Industrial law and Indian Labour Law
– Proficiency in independent work as an on-site HR Business Partner.
– Excellent communication, time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (word processing, spreadsheet, presentation).
– Recruiting experience, including knowledge of professional and legal guidelines in selection processes, equal employment opportunity law, and affirmative action compliance.
– Ability to exercise discretion, consider past practices, and maintain strong relationships with employees and leadership
