Summary
The University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI) is a progressive, interdisciplinary school offering a Bachelor of Science in Information, a Master of Science in Information, a Master of Health Informatics, a Master of Applied Data Science, and a Ph.D. in Information. The School’s mission is to create and share knowledge so that people will use information with technology to build a better world. Faculty, staff, and students’ intellectual diversity reflects the broad range of social and technological sciences that make up UMSI’s unique approach to solving information problems.
UMSI is seeking graders and instructional aides to work across undergraduate and graduate level courses.
Responsibilities*
Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams and record such grades as directed by the course instructor, following the instructor’s prescribed methods and turn around time.
Required Qualifications*
- Able to work independently with direction provided to grade assignments and exams.
- Proven attention to details, adaptable, and strong organizational skills are required.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively.
- Graduation from a college or university with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Work Schedule
8 – 10 hours a week, with a flexible schedule for remote hours.
Work Locations
School of Information, North Quadrangle, Central Campus, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Remote location(s) of choice.
Additional Information
You must be eligible to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. In addition, while remote work is allowable for this position, all work must be performed within the United States and its territories.
