Role Summary:

The Search Engine Optimization Manager will be responsible for development, implementation and measurement of SEO initiatives, while helping to design and deploy the channel’s strategic roadmap, aligning with key business priorities. The Manager will have an ongoing partnership with external vendors as well as key cross-functional teams within the organization including Ecommerce, Integrated Marketing, and Analytics teams. The ideal candidate will have an analytical and strategic mindset, strong presentation skills and be able to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Key Qualifications:

  • 3+ years SEO agency and/or in-house retail experience, 1+ years managing direct reports
  • Deep experience with Google Search Console, analytics platforms and enterprise level SEO research tools such as ScreamingFrog, Bloomreach, Brightedge, etc.
  • Fluency in basic SEO concepts such as keyword research, crawlability, page speed, user intent, mobile usability, etc.
  • Understanding of technical SEO concepts such as XML sitemaps, content optimization, structured data, and information architecture
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

Role Description:

  • Lead the strategic direction of SEO by building and evolving a roadmap which includes content strategy, development, implementation, site updates, experiments and technical initiatives
  • Provide support to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring current & new site features and content adheres to SEO best practices
  • Recommend changes to the site architecture, linking, etc. to improve search engine result page positioning
  • Collaborate closely with content teams to provide site recommendations that drive rich SEO focused content
  • Perform keyword research and data analysis to establish a case for project prioritization – Analyze, track and report on SEO performance trends and key initiatives with insights that will inform go-forward strategies
