The position of Marketing Content Specialist at Menlo College is a full-time, exempt position that reports
to the Director of Media Marketing for Enrollment and Athletics. This position plays a crucial role in creating engaging content that
highlights Menlo College’s unique offerings and attracts prospective students. This position offers hands-on experience in content creation,
social media management, and campaign development, providing a solid foundation for a career in marketing.

Content
Creation:

Assist in the development of compelling visual and written content for various channels, including the website, social
media, email campaigns, and printed materials.

Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and contribute to content creation
efforts.

Social Media Assistance:

Assist in strategizing, producing, and scheduling content for Menlo College’s social media
platforms, encompassing videos, photography, infographics, and more.

Monitor social media trends and contribute to the development
of engaging social media content.

Website Support:

Assist in updating and maintaining content on the Menlo College website to
ensure accuracy and relevance.

Learn and apply basic SEO principles to improve online visibility.

Campaign Support:

Work closely with the Marketing team to provide assistance in executing integrated marketing campaigns.

Contribute to storytelling
elements for campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

Brand Consistency:

Learn and uphold Menlo College’s brand
guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in
Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

A visual portfolio showcasing previous work preferred.

Demonstrated excellence in listening, written, and verbal communication within a team setting, with the capability to articulate
effectively.

Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts.

Enthusiastic attitude towards
learning and thriving in a dynamic marketing landscape.

Proficiency in managing multiple tasks efficiently, both independently and
collaboratively, within a deadline-driven environment.

Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening and weekend work
commitments.
