Scope of Job:
To
coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives for assigned internal university clients to support their goals and the UTRGV brand. Assigned
clients and projects will be those of secondary and tertiary level priority, but there will also be opportunities to participate on higher
level projects.
Description of Duties:
- Coordination of marketing campaigns for assigned internal university clients
and serves as liaison between University Marketing and Communications and those clients. - Ensures that clients’ marketing
objectives align to goal-oriented marketing plans with measurable outcomes and works under the close direction of the supervisor to
co-develop those plans and execute the initiatives laid out within them. - Coordinates execution of marketing plans and campaigns
for assigned clients, including writing creative briefs, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and working with outside vendors, as necessary. - Schedules and participates in strategy and planning meetings with creative staff and production team, ensuring all projects for
assigned clients are on-schedule and being addressed appropriately. - Participates in creating and presenting creative pitches.
- Coordinates multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, driving follow-up and awareness of deadlines both within marketing team
and with the client. - Builds and maintains assigned client relationships, keeps informed on project status and additional
requirements, and provides information on new or enhanced services. - Ensures consistent brand articulation for assigned clients,
that marketing and advertising dollars are being allocated effectively for assigned clients, and that their plans align to the university’s
strategic goals. - Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

General
supervision from assigned supervisor.

Direct supervision of assigned staff.
Required
Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising or related field.

Required Experience:
Two (2) years experience
performing related duties, such as: experience in marketing, promotional writing and/or related field.

Use of standard office equipment.
Working Conditions:
Needs to be able
to successfully perform all required duties. Office environment; some travel and weekend work is required. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force
occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including
the human body.

deadlines both within marketing team and with the client. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention
to detail, and an aptitude for making quick, quality decisions. - Strong sense of customer service and consistently interact with
clients with a high standard of professionalism. - Strong organizational skills and able to independently manage multiple projects
and deadlines simultaneously. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
