Position Summary

The marketing director is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns and initiatives to attract prospective students and increase brand awareness.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:

  • Create a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the institution’s goals, target audience, and budget.
  • Identify and define the institution’s target audience and key competition.
  • Ensure a strong and consistent brand image that resonates with the target audience and conveys the institution’s unique value proposition.
  • Leverage digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, pay-per-click advertising, and SEO, and traditional marketing channels to reach prospective students effectively.

Event Marketing:

  • Promote recruitment events such as open houses, campus tours, and information sessions to engage with prospective students and families

Data Analysis:

  • Continuously analyze marketing data, track key performance indicators, and adjust marketing strategies based on results to optimize recruitment efforts.

Budget Management:

  • Ensure efficient allocation of marketing resources and maintain a cost-effective approach while achieving recruitment goals.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $70,425 – $83,600

Qualifications

Education:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, or a related field.
  • Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
