As a Marketing Manager Product Planning, you will lead the product planning function for your business unit to deliver industry-best marketing plans and experiences for Doosan Bobcat customers. This person will serve in a lead role in developing marketing strategies. You are known for big ideas, but are grounded in data, real market insights and measurable results. You are proficient in merging product value proposition with results-based marketing strategy and customer insights to develop and prioritize marketing plans and strategies.
With a deep understanding of our target customers and how our products address their needs, you will play a crucial role in positioning our products the right way to the right buyers leading to higher revenue capture and increased market share. An attention to detail and eye for quality are critical to your success. When it comes to buyers, you know where they go for information, what influences their consideration and how they make purchase decisions. You ensure that when they need a marketing asset to help them in their purchase process, you’ve got in front of their eyes before they ask for it. You’ll drive cross-team collaboration in ongoing planning processes driving synergy and building advocacy for your marketing plans.

Role & Responsibility
Marketing Management
- Collaborate with leaders across the business and marketing team to understand new opportunity areas by analyzing products, customer requirements, sales and market trends and competitive gaps to solidify strategic planning and marketing campaigns to meet or exceed market share and revenue targets for specific products
- Lead the development of marketing campaigns and strategies that result in increased traffic, quantifiable engagements and high-quality sales leads and opportunities
- Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products using relevant KPIs on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes
- Develop and maintain relations with customers to deeply understand their needs and the product application across target industries
- Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, demand generation and evergreen marketing campaigns for your assigned business unit(s)
- Advance marketing and sales with value proposition, messaging content, and market expertise to ensure their ability to effectively launch, position and sell products
- Articulate product positioning and messaging for target audiences, while differentiating Doosan Bobcat products from competition
- Understand data-driven inputs for forecasting models, pricing strategies and competitive intelligence and activate the information within marketing plans
- Analyze our end-to-end conversion metrics to dive deep into the funnel, offering data-driven recommendations to improve conversion rates and achieve revenue objectives
- Utilize market research and company insight to inform and direct marketing campaigns
- Lead the development of the next level of integrated media and marketing strategies and create a plan and vision that can lead to significant impact for the business
- Leverage insights, learnings, and modeling to help determine the right channel mix
- Create a pipeline of new ideas and methods of marketing including test and learn plans and analyze relative ROI possibilities
- Understand the business/industry and how marketing connects to broader goals
- Utilize standard operating processes to drive launches, sales programs, product refreshes, and other marketing campaigns. Drive consistency in terms of how and when marketing managers of product planning interact with other team members and stakeholders outside of marketing, while embracing a test and learn mentality committed to driving results

Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
- 5-7 years relevant marketing and/or business strategy experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and must be results and metrics driven
- Ability to demonstrate a successful track record of building strong marketing strategies to maintain competitive advantage
- Stellar communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively with multiple constituents, including peers, senior management and executive management
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and coach a team
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
- Strong project management and coordination skills; and ability to excel in a fluid, cross-functional team environment
- Ability to prioritize, self-start and contribute under pressure and tight deadlines
- Travel: 10 – 20%
