Richard Bland College
(RBC) is a two-year, residential, liberal arts transfer institution that focuses on preparing students for transfer to highly ranked
colleges and universities. The College is a hidden gem located outside the Tri-Cities region-and its rural setting featuring 750+ acres of
wetlands, bucolic forest, and the state’s oldest and largest pecan grove.
Richard Bland College of William & Mary Department of
Campus Safety and Police is currently seeking a talented and experienced IT Support and Administrative Clerk to join our team. The mission
of the Richard Bland College Department of Campus Safety & Police is to provide a safe and secure living, learning, and working environment
for the students, faculty, staff, and visitors of the College.
As a direct report to the Department Accreditation, Compliance, and
Records Manager, the Police Department IT Support and Administrative Clerk will have the assigned duties of performing department data
input, program management, and department IT support functions. This position will cover the front office during staff absences from the
office due to scheduled time off and commitments to other departments and events on campus.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must
be a United States citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United States and eligible for naturalization - Strong analytical
skills and demonstrated experience in accessing and utilizing data for decision making. - Effective interpersonal skills, strong
communicator, a collaborative management style and the ability to work effectively across functional areas to achieve established goals. - Ability to multi-task during high-stress events or situations.
- Must be a well-organized, motivated, self-starter who
can work independently and as a team player. - Must be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Must have
excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing. - Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, DCJS Basic Dispatcher, and VCIN/NCIC, within one year is required.
- Enthusiastic
commitment to the Richard Bland College mission, vision and REACH-2025 goals. - Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a
diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at RBC. - Must have proficient PC
application skills using Microsoft tools (i.e. MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
