The Aerospace Technology Institute sits at the centre of UK aerospace research and technology. It is responsible for the UK’s Aerospace Technology Strategy and the promotion of transformative technology in air transport, representing a joint industry and Government commitment to R&D funding of over £4 billion to 2031. The ATI represents a single, coherent national aerospace technology development programme that aims to strengthen the links between industry and academia whilst maximising opportunities for UK industry to gain access to European R&T programmes.

The Programme Delivery Manager will be responsible for supporting the successful planning, coordination and delivery of ATI’s funding programmes, including the Strategic Programme, SME Programme, and Non-CO2 Programme. This role requires strong organisational, planning, analytical, and communication skills to ensure timely delivery and continual improvement of programme. You will work closely with our colleagues across the ATI, and our programme partners, Innovate UK and the Department for Department for Business and Trade (DBT) maintaining high standards of programme governance, performance and professionalism.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in project management in a complex environment, with strong organisational and planning skills to support the successful delivery of ATI’s funding programmes.
They will demonstrate excellent analytical abilities to assess and improve processes, along with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements. Exceptional communication skills are essential for engaging effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and professionalism in all interactions. The candidate will be detail-oriented, able to manage multiple and conflicting priorities, and committed to upholding high standards of programme governance and performance.
