Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging individual to join the Agency Partnerships team. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy for your territory in terms of both partner acquisition and enablement. You will play a key role, as the primary point of contact, in managing the day to day interactions with a portfolio of agency partners. With your ease and ability to start conversations you will be focused on building lasting relationships based on trust and transparency with our most valued partners. As the trusted source for partners, you will finesse points of friction and be the problem solver your partners can count on to support them.

This role reports directly to our Senior Director, Agency Partners.

What you can expect

  • Grow and develop strong relationships with Stakeholders, Partner Agencies and Partner Portfolio leaders to ensure alignment, gather information, and provide feedback.
  • Assess and respond to agency needs by listening, understanding, overcoming objections, linking features to benefits, and identifying ideal solutions.
  • Helping handle incidents and escalations either within partner teams or our own.
  • Coordinate with sales for direct enterprise deals (enterprise referrals).
  • Follow and achieve sales quota on a quarterly basis.
  • Participate in conferences and company events with partners.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Understand the target markets, including needs, trends, terminology, etc.
  • Coordinate marketing for release of relevant partner collateral.

What you bring

  • Experience: 3-5 years experience working with a portfolio of customers or digital agencies, or other relevant ISVs, in any role.
    • Having an existing book of partners you can demonstrate success with is a plus for this role.
  • Account Management Mastery: Dedicated to cultivating strong partner relationships, crafting tailored solutions, and driving exceptional experiences and impactful outcomes.
  • Proactive Business Mindset: Thinks about a portfolio as a business. Thrives in managing accounts with a self-starting approach, fostering autonomy, accountability, and a passion for building nurturing portfolios.
  • Collaborative Navigator: Adaptable in a globally distributed work environment, adept at problem-solving, and prioritizing teamwork within Platform.sh and partner accounts.
  • Resilient Problem Solver: Equipped to handle challenges beyond primary tasks, persistently overcoming setbacks, while demonstrating best practices in prioritization and time management.
  • Eager Learner Self Motivated: Enthusiastic about continual growth, driven by a desire to excel, and committed to learning with self-initiative.

This is a remote job. Work from the North America region!
