As a result, we’re looking for a customer service driven, commercially astute and entrepreneurial professional services leader to help us achieve our strategic goals. Reporting to the CEO and driving global strategies and operations, this is a unique, ‘work from anywhere’ role that will offer you fantastic challenges and opportunities to build a thriving commercial enterprise.

What the role looks like

Reporting to the CEO, this role forms part of our senior leadership team and is integral to Moodle’s ongoing success. As a highly experienced commercial leader, you will bring entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger for success to achieve revenue growth for our global services business.

More specifically, this entails:

  • Developing and executing strategic plans to deliver on our (professional) services division’s goals, building and scaling our operations to achieve a best-in-class customer experience
  • Attracting, developing and leading a high performance team that are passionate about delivering Moodle services to the world
  • Overseeing the operations of our regional service providers, customer support and partner management teams, working collaboratively to develop service offerings, value propositions, partner initiatives, marketing strategy and pricing decisions
  • Driving the strategic direction of our merger acquisition activity, leading all stages of the MA process including post acquisition integration.

Requirements

We’d love to meet you

Especially if you can talk to us about your:

  • Extensive experience at an executive/senior leadership level in the building and scaling of professional services businesses and delivery partnerships, with experience with a subscription-based business model, delivering on-premise and SaaS solutions
  • A deep understanding of what will be required to effectively resource a global services strategy, with a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about the structuring of the Services Teams, product/service offerings and technical challenges
  • Advanced people leadership experience and communication skills, with the ability to develop and inspire high performance, and promote a strong workplace culture across geographically dispersed teams
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate high value deals with a C-level audience and positively influence outcomes
  • It’s not critical, but an understanding of Moodle and the Moodle ecosystem would be a bonus!
