Job Description
Lead and undertake selected pricing projects, analysis and tool development, which will include
- Driving greater efficiency and effectiveness through automation
- Making output more user friendly
- Analysing and optimising current pricing strategies and recommending ways to adjust and improve
- Partnering with commercial team stakeholders in the business
Take the lead on selected parts of the Annual Price Review process and drive implementation through the Annual Price Change process.
Minimise frustrations with day-to-day pricing through
- Investigating and resolving more complex issues
- Lead evolution of day-to-day product pricing process
Main day-to-day point of contact with Product Managers to ensure pricing is up to date with marketing initiatives
Be seen as a key Subject Matter Expert on pricing
Participate in monthly commercial finance reporting, driving analytical insight and quality control
Qualifications
- Min. 3 years of pricing experience from a consultancy firm or a similar role in a relatable industry (i.e. pricing in a B2B environment for a large number of SKUs)
- Experience of project management and change management is an advantage
- Degree level qualification or relevant professional qualification
- Knowledge Excel and Powerpoint (advanced), experience with Tableau or PowerBI, and IFS or other similar ERP systems are helpful.
- Fluent in English, ability to speak and write in another language is an advantage.
- Hybrid role, able and willing to travel to LGC office in Teddington 2-3x per month
- Willing to travel to Sales Offices (as-required)
