Job Summary/Basic Function:

A combination of academic qualifications, technical skills, and SAP knowledge and certifications.

What You’ll Do – Position Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate SAP clients
  • Assist faculty with SAP classes
  • Support students with SAP troubleshooting
  • Update SAP Curriculum
  • Conduct SAP training

Key Competencies:

  • Coordinate SAP Client Needs: Collaborate with host servers located in Chico, CA, to ensure the availability and functionality of SAP systems for various classes. Manage server configurations and access to meet the specific needs of instructors and students
  • Assist Instructors with SAP Classes: Provide support to instructors in developing and conducting SAP-related exercises and classes. Offer technical assistance and guidance to ensure effective use of SAP software during classroom sessions
  • Support Students with SAP Assignments: Assist students in understanding and completing SAP assignments through multiple channels, including email, phone, and in-person consultations. Address technical issues and provide clarifications on SAP functionalities and exercises
  • Update and Develop SAP Curriculum: Regularly update the SAP curriculum to reflect the latest offerings and functionalities. Collaborate with faculty to create new curriculum content for emerging SAP modules and tools to ensure alignment with industry standards
  • Conduct SAP Certification Training Academy: Organize and conduct an annual SAP Certification Training Academy through the University Alliance program. Plan and execute training sessions, ensuring that participants receive comprehensive education and preparation for SAP certification

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with SAP software, including practical knowledge of its modules and functionalities.
  • Strong technical skills and familiarity with server management and SAP systems configuration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively assist both instructors and students. Proven ability to develop and update curriculum materials Experience in conducting training sessions or educational programs is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP HANA TS/410 Certification or experience in a similar role
  • Experience working within an academic setting or with educational programs
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a various group of stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of SAP education and to contribute significantly to the professional development of students and faculty
