What We Are Looking For
The
Senior Front-End Web Developer will be supporting Baylor University’s mission providing project leadership and support for
the content management system and related digital marketing technology. This position will deliver well-executed digital experiences for
campus partners and Marketing and Communications division colleagues using appropriate web technologies.
A Bachelor’s Degree, three
years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master’s Degree and five years of relevant work experience
is preferred.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time
basis.
What You Will Do
- Provide project leadership and support for Baylor’s content management
system core environment and associated digital marketing technologies. - Support digital marketing technology configuration and
operation (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Siteimprove). Use analytic tools to inform development of websites and web tools. - Develop
beautiful, accessible and responsive components of the digital theme using the appropriate digital marketing technologies (Drupal, PHP,
Twig, CSS, HTML, Javascript, etc.) based on Baylor united brand standards. - Create websites within Baylor’s web content management
system(s) using Baylor’s united theme and other appropriate digital technologies. - Serve as a professional consultant to University
departments, helping them find the best digital solutions for their marketing objectives and providing training as needed. - Collaborate with others in Marketing and Communications & Information Technology Services; follow emerging trends and technologies that
may inform future digital initiatives, integrating them as appropriate. - Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s
mission. - Ability to comply with University policies.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
