About the role

The Development team is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift and legacy prospects and donors with the financial capacity of £100,000 to £5m.

As Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will be able to raise philanthropic income at the six-figure and seven-figure level from a variety of income streams to support Advancement activity.

This is a really exciting, and brand new role to focus on donors and prospects in North America, primarily the United States.

We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time and flexible basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).

About you

We know that our people are our greatest asset, You will have a significant track record in fundraising or client relationship management. You will have demonstrable success in managing a high value and diverse portfolio of clients / donors including complex relationships.You will be a sophisticated communicator with a highly persuasive and creative writing style and the confidence to build relationships with a diverse group of international donors, and colleagues right across our complex organisation.We know that our people are our greatest asset and in return we provide an empowering, values-based environment where personal and professional growth is invested in.
