Job Description:
Primary Function: Develops, coordinates, creates and posts original, engaging and branded content across all UNI parent social media platforms; manages day -to-day content; leads campus social media affinity group and collaborates/communicates best practices and strategies with owners of UNI-affiliated social media channels; monitors, analyzes and provides regular metrics and reports to the University Relations team; and evaluates emerging social media platforms and trends.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; at least three years of combined experience in social media, digital media, communication, marketing and/or related field; strong understanding of digital landscape; experience working with a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and YouTube; excellent writing, communication and proofreading skills; photography/videography experience; experience editing photos/videos and creating graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Adobe Express) and other tools (such as Canva, CapCut); attention to detail; and ability to multitask and complete timely content execution required. Familiarity with Sprout Social or other social media management tools and analytics reporting preferred. Occasional work outside normal office hours and occasional travel will be necessary.
