Job Description


D’Youville University Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program invites applications for a tenure track/tenured faculty position at the
rank of assistant or associate professor. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Responsibilities: 

The faculty member will be responsible for teaching across the SLP graduate curriculum,
advising students and contributing to the curricular and overall program design. All faculty members are expected to serve the university,
school, program and community; engage in scholarship and professional development; and support the university, school and program missions
and visions. Clinical supervision and/or program development in the on-campus Health Professions Hub may also be a part of this position.

Minimum
Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or closely related fields (PhD or EdD). Candidates
    in final stage of doctoral program are eligible to apply.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and an ability to contribute
    to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts on campus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Record of
    teaching, service and scholarship
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American
    Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP)
  • Licensure, or eligible for licensure, in New York
  • Experience with
    interprofessional collaborative education/practice, innovative learning platforms and pedagogical methodologies, accreditation and
    certification standards, grant-writing, and research development.

Pay: $80,000.00 -
$90,000.00 per year

Additional Salary Information

Faculty rank will be commensurate with education and
qualifications. 

The salary range reflects our good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of
posting, the role and associated responsibilities, and the experience, education, and training of the selected candidate.
