Technical Office Engineer in Woodwork Manufacturing , you’ll be responsible for;
Produce detailed shop drawings and specify the nature, quantity, and quality of materials required and select suitable materials (wood, metal, accessories, paint, textiles, fabrics, etc.)
Produce cutting lists needed for furniture and woodwork production.
Work closely with other related departments (production, design, procurement, finance, operations, etc.)
Prepare the orders forms and send them to the technical teams.
Send all of the order documents to all of the concerned departments.
Ensure high quality, innovative, functional production solutions and ensure the proper conversion of the design into processes and steps.
Skills
Bachelor of Applied Arts or equivalent
3-5 yrs of experience in similar role
Portfolio of previous work
Previous experience in wood factories and affiliated furniture companies
Excellent command of MS Office applications (Word – Excel – PowerPoint)
Excellent command of AutoCAD, 3Dmax, SketchUp design software and autodesk autodesk inventor
Aware of the furniture/interiors industry and the manufacturing phases and components
Previous experience in cutting lists and cost analysis
Autocad , MS Office (Word- Excel ) , autodesk inventor or Solidwork , sketch up , cutting optimizer
