Description of Work Unit

CEMML is a research, education and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at Colorado State University (CSU). CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DoD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and within CSU to resolve complex environmental issues, leaving a legacy of science-based decisions that sustain our resources for future generations.

Position Summary

A Web Application Developer (hourly) position is available with the Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML). Work for this project is expected to be remote or in person in Fort Collins at the discretion of the applicant.

Position Minimum Qualifications
* The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. by the proposed start date; CEMML will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent work experience.
* At least one year of professional experience in web development using JavaScript ES5 and React.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with the following technologies is desirable:
* Redux
* Redux Toolkit
* Git or other version control system.
* Typescript
* SQL, relational databases
* ESRI ArcEnterprise or Geographic information systems (GIS)
