Job Description
Position Summary
The Web Scrum Master will be responsible for managing projects for cross-functional agile teams to deliver
and support website needs through the Marketing function and as requested by internal partners. The Scrum Master guides and facilitates
Scrum teams as well as manages relationships with key Marketing leadership and stakeholders while maintaining expectations across teams and
ensuring delivery of high-quality assets through removing blockers and encouraging advanced planning. The Scrum Master will be well-versed
in removing impediments and fostering a high performing team with a focus on continuous improvement resulting in quality and on-time
delivery. The Scrum Master monitors product delivery health by creating and delivery dashboards, risk mitigation strategies, dependency
coordination, and feedback loops.
Essential Functions:
- Guide, coach and motivate the Web Development team
with the goal of increasing productivity. - Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies.
- Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality,
goals, and deliverables that support business goals. - Remove impediments and/or guide the team to remove impediments.
- Build a
trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of
productive conflict resolution and problem solving. - Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution while playing
an active role in providing solutions and making decisions where applicable. - Prepare and present reports on the progress and success
to leaders and stakeholders. - Coordinate activities with other teams across the program
- Partner with and support the Product
Owner - Collaborate to create, manage, and maintain improvement strategies and roadmaps at both the value stream and team
level. - Product delivery health by understanding and leveraging metrics, delivery dashboards, risk mitigation strategies, dependency
coordination, and feedback loops.

Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- 5
plus years of experience or an equivalent of education and experience, required .
Competencies/Technical/Functional Skills:
- Scrum master experience for multiple teams.
- Experience in an agile environment in other roles, such as quality
assurance, development, product owner, or as an agile coach - Experience in project management with technical or web development teams
preferred. - Proven knowledge and experience with agile software development methodologies, values, and
procedures - Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor the team to reach their highest potential. Excellent team player and
team builder - Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work
collaboratively with diverse personality types. - Ability to understand technical issues at a high level and communicate agile
methodologies within the organization. - Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Strong
ability to manage multiple agile teams and ensure a proper balance between business and Marketing teams, and management. - Must be
self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex problems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills with a high attention to detail

receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and
competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary
will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency. Base pay is one component of National University’s

Compensation Range:
Annual Salary: $63,720.00 – $86,020.00
