About the Job
This position is an integral part of a dynamic shared services
web development team within the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost. Our team manages a diverse portfolio of websites,
encompassing various programs and central administrative units. The web development team maintains and creates websites using Drupal 9/10,
handling content management, and provides web support.
This is a 100% time, 12-months continuing appointment (job code 1885, Exec
Office and Administrative Specialist).
JOB DUTIES
- Perform Drupal 9/10 web production tasks including page and
paragraph creation (80%): - Collaborate closely with developers, team lead and other team members to ensure the timely response to
web issues (20%)
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED
and four years of related office and administrative experience or a combination of training/education to total 4 years. - Demonstrated
excellent communications skills - Demonstrated 5+ months of experience with Drupal 10 content management
- Self-directed with
the ability to manage multiple projects. - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with Drupal development
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a
team - Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with the University of Minnesota web
standards
