Position Summary
Position Title: Website
Developer
Reporting to: Director
of Web Communications & Strategy
Position Summary:
This position serves as subject matter expert for the College’s internet resources, including the official
website and the internal portal. This position helps manage the contents of the College website and related technologies, including the
internal myAlbertus portal and the library website, through various Content Management Systems (CMS).
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the website
architecture, web programming activities, and projects, including daily updates of web pages, forms, and site functions, utilizing the
Colleges main CMS. - Participates in developing strategies to optimize website operation and performance and implement new features
and functionality. - Assist in developing assets for the College website, internal portal, emails, and banners
- Ensures that
College websites adhere to usability and accessibility standards, conform to brand guidelines, and follow internal web development
processes. - Collaborates with various College departments to develop and deploy forms, manage materials, and send emails using the
Colleges contact relationship management (CRM) system. - Supports the social networking, survey, and other electronic communication
tools related to College communications. - Monitors web usage through Google Analytics 4 to support marketing and promotional
efforts. - Works closely with ITS personnel to ensure secure communication between external web portals and internal data
assets. - Works closely with the MarComm team to ensure brand stewardship and track marketing and advertising deliverables.
- Maintains clear communication with team members via email, hangouts, verbal communication, and a project management tool.
- Keeps
current on trends and advancements in web development, social media, digital marketing, and related technologies. - Ownership of
website - Additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of web
programming languages and use of related applications. Experience managing websites for information and performance and related online
solutions.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or related experience.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years hands-on experience in web production and development in a professional setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency with web-related
technologies such as HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and Javascript. - Familiarity with Photoshop and GA 4.
- Experience with web
content management systems, such as Modern Campus OmniUpdate, is preferred. - Familiarity with Slate is preferred.
- Strong
technical skills. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to deal
directly with clients of all technical backgrounds and professional levels, independently resolve routine and non-routine technical matters,
prioritize work and meet deadlines, and work effectively as part of a team. - Ability to work with marketing teams to deliver the
intended user experience. - Comfortable bringing new ideas forward.
Working Conditions:
Desk work in an office environment. Occasional
nights and weekend updates to websites for notices of College closing due to inclement weather and other notices.

Full-time employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-Time employees can earn
between 18-23 paid time off a year. The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees
responsible for books and technology fees). The college is committed to work-life balance and has a summer schedule from June through
August. We currently have 14 paid holidays, including a winter break. You will have the opportunity to participate in our retirement plan
from day one, and after one year of employment, the college contributes depending on your service years.
