Title: Website Experience Specialist

General Summary: Reporting to the Director of Communication and Creative Services & Web Development, this position is
responsible for the website’s day-to-day content management with a focus on developing new pages, posting new content, and adapting existing
content for Search Engine Optimization, usability and enhanced customer experience. Using Google Analytics and college data, the Web
Experience Specialist will develop data-informed content and approaches to inform and implement strategies that grow enrollment and
engagement. They will be responsible for managing all new webpage/content requests, providing digital support for all paid marketing
campaigns, and lead cross-departmental specialist teams and trained CMS editors for the creation and maintenance of key content areas
including Admissions and Enrollment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Using the College’s Content Management
System (CMS), develop engaging content and build user web experiences that seamlessly integrate with marketing campaigns - Monitor and
report on website analytics, ensuring continuous improvement of the site’s overall usability and effectiveness - Monitor, update, and
edit web content daily to align with strategic guidelines, college mission, user experience (UX) best practices, and marketing
initiatives - Develop and continuously refine a set of website guidelines and policies that are aligned with institutional strategic
goals and are responsive to higher education website best practices, including in the areas of copyright compliance, brand standards, and
accessibility - Utilize analytics to make informed decisions about page structure, information architecture, and content
hierarchy - Collaborate with department writers, designers, and clients on the creation of engaging original web content that is
mission-driven, data-informed, focused on enrollment and retention, and designed for optimal search engine results - Manage internal
stakeholder/client expectations to ensure both strategic alignment and user satisfaction - Manage the college’s approved CMS editors,
creating professional development opportunities, providing guidance on content creation, monitoring and editing CMS editor content, and
sharing resources - Manage multiple web content projects simultaneously across a diverse set of clients and competing
deadlines - Work with the college’s IT department to ensure collaborative efficiency with regard to all back-end development support
responsibilities, ongoing maintenance, and monitoring of the website’s quality assurance - Perform additional duties as assigned by
the Director of Communication and Creative Services & Web Development
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree, completed coursework or equivalent experience in the field of web design, digital content creation and/or digital
marketing - At least two years of full-time, experience developing website content for marketing purposes
- Expertise in
copywriting for digital platforms - Expertise in Search Engine Optimization
- Demonstrated understanding of information
architecture - Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and experience creating accessible digital content
- Experience
creating campaign metrics and KPIs - Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics
- Understanding of User Experience (UX) best
practices and User Interface (UI) environments - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work
collaboratively - Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and identities such as socioeconomic status, sexual
orientation, religion, veterans, culture, race, and ethnicity, including those with different levels of academic preparation and varying
physical and learning abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Modern Campus CMS or a
comparable Content Management System - Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail
and accuracy - Outstanding attention to detail with a persistent focus on quality
- Experience using Google
Docs - Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity with project management

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 actual salary commensurate with academic background and

Location:
Bedford campus with occasional travel to Lowell as needed
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, schedule to be determined upon
hire. This position will be eligible for a maximum of two days of telework in accordance with the College’s telework policy.
