Job Summary
The University of Utah central Annual Giving team, within the
University Advancement division, is hiring a Website Specialist. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Specialist position will be
an integral member of the Annual Giving team and Advancement across the University. Annual Giving dual reports and works directly with the
Alumni Relations Office and central University Advancement team to serve the various university partners and stakeholders.
The
Specialist will help increase the number of donors and philanthropic dollars raised through the U’s new giving website. This person will be
charged with improving current and developing new systems with campus area partners to maintain, update, and add new giving pages for
fundraising efforts throughout the year.
The Specialist plays a crucial role on the Annual Giving Team servicing the colleges,
centers, scholarships, arts and community organizations areas across the institution in the web space. They will provide support for over
350 fund pages.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and enhancement of the universitys WordPress built giving
site, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience for donors. - Collaboration and customer service for various campus areas to
maintain and implement new giving pages and funds, collect partners messaging and content and build on to the giving site, and provide
support for related initiatives. - Automated Workflow: Work closely with the University Advancement Development Services Team to
develop an automated and trackable request and work case system in the Universitys CRM for giving pages. - URL Redirects, Embedded
Pages, and Support: Provide URL redirects and support for ancillary areas with other payment processors. Manage vanity 301 redirect URLs
for various campus areas and their campaigns. - Coordinate with key stakeholders and teams across Advancement. Work closely with
Gift Services Team and Account Executives for all designations and new accounts/funds. Conduct audits at least twice a year to compare
active vs. inactive funds, cross-referencing with the CRM. - Parent Fund Website Oversight: Maintain and update the Parent Fund
WordPress website. Regularly update and maintain content for the Parent Fund and Crimson Parents Giving Society. - In collaboration
with the Annual Giving, this role will provide guidance and best practices on giving pages.

Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelors degree or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two
years of related work experience) with 2-4 years of experience.
