Job Description
The Section of General Internal Medicine is seeking a
Writing & Communications Coordinator to join our team and support various activities of our Section and faculty. In this role, the
Coordinator will draft letters of support for faculty who are nominated for awards and Chair letters for faculty who are being considered
for promotion. The Coordinator will work with faculty on their personal statements and track faculty publications. Effort and time will be
spent partnering with faculty on manuscripts, conducting literature reviews and increasing faculty publications and visibility. Working with
other members of the team to create process workflows, job descriptions and other communications (including assisting with updating our
website) will also be part of the role.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of work
experience - Excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
