Job Description


Summary

London Intern in Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank’s Leveraged Finance Syndicate team within the Distribution and Asset Rotation department.  The person will support the senior members of the team responsible for structuring, pricing and syndicating leveraged  loans and High Yield bonds within EMEA.  The position is based in Credit Agricole CIB offices in London, UK. 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in the execution of Bookrunner responsibilities on Primary Syndicated Leveraged Loan and High Yield Bond transactions including:

Ø  Review early bird and credit memos, due diligence reports, financing grids, and write syndication opinions

Ø  Develop liquidity analysis spreadsheets

Ø  Compose and update syndication status reports

Ø  Set up transactions in Debt Domain and manage them throughout the syndication process

Ø  Answer investor questions and maintain a Q&A tracker

Ø  Prepare allocation spreadsheets

Ø  Write first drafts of syndication materials

Ø  Arrange bank meetings

Ø  Track deal expenses

Ø  Prepare closing memos

Ø  Review and submit league table information

 

2. Provide research and market analysis information

Ø  Provide comparable deal information to the deal teams

Ø  Maintain and support an IM and term sheet library

Ø  Maintain an investor activity database

Ø  File and organise research information

Ø  Track fees, margins and structures and other market information on competitors’ deals

Ø  Produce analysis and synthetic reports on market developments

 

3. Provide support for marketing activities

Ø   Prepare marketing pitches for meetings with investors and sponsors

Ø  Arrange meetings with investors for the team

Ø  Organise marketing events for investors

 

 4.  Produce and update reporting spreadsheets and undertake other administrative tasks

Ø  Update regular reports on pipeline, deals, budget and the market

Ø  Ensure proper upkeep of files and administrative trails

Ø  File and organise reports and market and deal information
