The Government of Canada in the form of a Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) 2023 is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of various student opportunities, for students with Disabilities (EOSD) & Indigenous Student Employment Opportunity (ISEO). The Government of Canada is known to be the body responsible for the federal administration of Canada. We are known as a constitutional monarchy and the Crown is the corporation. We are known to be the digital presence of the Canadian Government. Our website is known to work to make it easier for the Canadians to find and understand Government of Canada information and services. In all, we are known to work assuming distinctive roles, such as the corporation sole, the executive, as the Crown-in-Council, the legislature, as the Crown-in-Parliament and the courts, as the Crown-on-the-Bench. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to full time/part time or permanent employment. The shifts the candidate has to work are yet to be determined.

The Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) of the Government of Canada has a wide variety of jobs from coast to coast, in diverse fields, such as administration, agriculture, communications, enforcement, finance, IT, policy, and many more. Students here at these jobs work in offices and laboratories, on ships and farms, at historical sites and national parks, among many other locations, in more than 300 cities and towns across Canada.

FSWEP 2024: Requirements

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English, French and Bilingual Languages.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a full-time high school, CEGEP, college or university student. The candidate should be returning to full-time studies in the next academic year. The candidate should meet the minimum age requirement in the province/territory of work
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

The Employment Opportunity for Students with Disabilities (EOSD) only remains available to students who have answered “YES” to the question “Are you a person with a disability” under the “Employment Equity self-declaration” section. Other than this, Indigenous Students Employment Opportunity (ISEO) only remains open to the students who have answered “YES” to the question “Are you an Aboriginal* person?” under the “Employment Equity self-declaration” section. The hired students will get the benefits from support, training and networking offered as part of these initiatives.
Note 1: The group of Indigenous Peoples of Canada include First Nations, Inuit and Métis. These three groups include many unique nations, each with its own history, language or dialect, cultural expressions, experiences and identities.

What Happens After You Submit Your Application?
