POSITION OVERVIEW
The Associate Data Engineer is part of a large technical team responsible for analyzing, cleaning, preparing, and integrating data into the system. The ideal individual in this role is extremely detail-oriented, analytical, and can convey large amounts of information in a simple manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interprets data
- Builds ETL pipelines
- Filters and cleans data for clarity
- Works with customer-facing teams to ensure quality of service
- Works with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Develops new process improvement opportunities
- Takes ownership of special projects where requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working in a role with a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python or other coding languages
- Working knowledge of ETL/ELT
- Experience with low code platforms similar to FME, Alteryx, Talend, or Fivetran
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities and good interpersonal skills
