Yardzen is seeking a talented Brand Designer with a strong design perspective and expert project management skills to contract with Yardzen’s Marketing team. The Brand Designer will create content for all marketing channels and will have skills in video, graphics and copy. Yardzen’s Brand Designer contractor will work in multiple direct response mediums, including web, product, advertising, social media, print, and email, working with stakeholders across the company.  This role is a contract, part-time position.

As Brand Designer, you will be responsible for:

• Create high quality content, leveraging Yardzen brand guidelines and style guides.
• Work on a diverse set of projects ranging from social media content and ads, emails, pitch decks, marketing collateral, landing pages, and print pieces.  
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce a wide variety of direct response campaigns, including blog and social media posts, digital ads, landing pages, marketing emails, direct mail, and more.
• Work closely with the marketing team to deliver on-brand designs that drive desired business outcomes. 
• Manage and prioritize the workload of multiple projects from concept to completion.

Requirements for the role:

• 5+ years of experience in brand design with an excellent understanding of video, layout, typography, color, photography, and other design principles (experience in-house preferred). 
• Excellent project management skills with the drive to improve and implement new processes. 
• Robust understanding of digital-first, direct-response best practices. Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
• A real team player with the ability to work with others and keep a level of transparency throughout the process. 
• A portfolio that showcases your conceptual thinking, execution skills, detailed systems, and brand standards. 

Nice to have:
