Salary: $17.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 55 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Windsor, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: In shop, and General manufacturing
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Milling machines, and Firearms
Measuring tools: Micrometers, and Verniers
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, and Ear plugs
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency, demonstrating attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities and demands, and be willing to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines or address workload fluctuations
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently, taking initiative and managing tasks effectively, and be capable of handling weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs) safely and appropriately

- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, adapting readily to changing situations and tasks, and be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals
- The candidates should show initiative, taking proactive steps to address challenges and explore opportunities for improvement, and strive for accuracy in their work, paying attention to detail and minimizing errors
- The candidates should exhibit dependability, consistently fulfilling their responsibilities and commitments, and be quick learners, capable of grasping new concepts and procedures efficiently
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports accurately and on time, resolve work problems, and recommend measures to improve productivity effectively
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain firearms safely and responsibly, fabricate, repair, and modify firearms according to established standards and regulations, and read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables accurately
- The candidates should be able to maintain inspection records, complete inspection reports with attention to detail, verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
