THE DIVISON OF FINANCE, ADMINISTRATION AND BUSINESS INNOVATION

The Division of Finance, Administration, and Business Innovation focuses on maintaining fiscal and physical infrastructures, including information technology, that strengthen academic programs, business operations, and student life. The Offices within this division include: ​

GENERAL SUMMARY

Under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer, this position will manage a robust portfolio of campus-related projects in collaboration with the Office of Technology and Information Services (OTIS) . This position will also serve as an advocate and resource of content creation and referral for the campus community on a request-based system, allowing for proper management of time and resources.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish, execute, and manage projects in accordance with given timelines.
  • Work in collaboration with various campus stakeholders to create superb communication and marketing efforts that reflect the university brand.
  • Serve as a creative resource in the development and furtherance of the college’s brand and internal marketing efforts.
  • Serve as a creative resource in the development and furtherance of the college’s brand and external advertising efforts.
  • Keep abreast of new trends in communications.
  • Provide work direction and guidance to staff members as needed for communication projects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field or five years of experience in communications, marketing, graphic design and/or web design.
  • Experience with multiple print and digital communications media.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of higher education and new/emerging trends in communications.
  • Proficiency in technology as related to computers, printers, email, and other basic triage as required on a college campus.
