Thanks to its internationally recognized expertise in the field of oil and gas production unit operations, maintenance and also Renewable Energy market, SPIE Global Services Energy was selected to provide this activity on ENI ORF PROJECT in Ghana.

In this context, we are looking for competent and passionate professionals for a
position of a Team Leader M/F.

 

  • Position is onshore in an Onshore Receiving Facility
  • Rotation 4×4
  • He is the technical representative and focal point of CONTRACTOR on SITE.
  • He is responsible for the on-site management of CONTRACTOR’s maintenance teams (technical, administrative, operational, coordinatiion, and professional).
  • He is the HSE management representative for CONTRACTOR’s activities
     

Main activities: 

  • Promote and apply QHSSE rules and procedures.
  • Manage his team as he is the Spie focal point on site.
  • Distribute the daily activities to the supervisors as prepared by
    the planning team.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and inspection operations.
  • Check and validate technical reports.
  • Inform the persons concerned, by appropriate reporting, on the
    progress of maintenance and inspections operations and, if
    necessary, of difficulties encountered.
  • Ensure the appropriateness of the procedures and tools employed by his crews.
  • Have a strategic view of the activity executed on site by
    analyzing CMMS data.

 

Specific activities: 

  • Keep an up-to-date list of work that cannot be performed except
    during inspections of machines and shutdowns.
  • Maintain a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that
    could occur in the production plant.
  • Organize the rotation schedules of his teams.
  • Identify the training and material needs.
  • Coordinate the OJT on site for purpose of competencies
    development and nationalization plan.

 

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 10 years experience in industrial plants (refinery or
    petrochemical field) as maintenance supervisor and mechanical
    field engineer during similar plant erection and commissioning,
  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) as direct employee
    inside a company handling General Maintenance Contracts in
    industrial complexes, in position of Team Leader or CSR.
  • A knowledge of the principles related to the process and equipment of oil and gas treatment installations
  • Ability to lead and motivate multinational teams
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
  • Physical ability to work in installations within the tropical climatic conditions of the site.
  • He must have a proven sense of responsibility and a talent for management.
  • He must be rigorous and methodical in his approach to operations.
  • He must show common sense and be able to anticipate and analyse.
  • A natural, flexible authority is essential.
