JOB OVERVIEW:

As a Business Development and loan recovery officer you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our Company. Your primary responsibilities include identifying, on-boarding of prospective clients, fostering sales, strategic partnerships and contributing to revenue generation. You will collaborate closely with supply team to ensure smooth and seamless delivery of clients orders while also working alongside our customer relationship officer to maintain long-lasting relationships with clients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing and push for the sales of company product and services.
  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective clients through a relationship-based approach.
  • Negotiate favourable price for sale of product with client.
  • Ensure monthly targets are met by following up with new leads, referrals generated from marketing company’s products and services and sealing deals.
  • Ensuring monthly & weekly targets of volumes of gas to be supplied are met.
  • Ensure updated information are given to clients at all times.
  • Prepare invoices and ensure that accurate invoices are issued to clients and payments are made.
  • Reconciliation of payment of gas sold to client with the accountant and client.
  • Monitor the assigned accounts to ensure repayment and report on the status of each of the assigned accounts.
  • Develop new plans to recover and collect owed money/outstanding debt.
  • Ensure that any discrepancies with customer information are promptly resolved.
  • Consistently and periodically update the database with customer information like new addresses, names, payback information.
  • Negotiate extended payment plans and the best course of action for customers seeking to avoid further debts.
  • Liaise with supply department to ensure smooth delivery of the product to the clients e.g getting accurate address, description etc.
  • Identify opportunities in target markets for the Company’s products and services.
  • Keeping up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors.
  • Developing new sales area and improving sales through various methods.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in sale/marketing/loan recovery or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic business environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and software. (Important)

SALARY RANGE-NGN120,000-150,000

AVAILABLE TO BE INTERVIEWED FROM FRIDAY, 7TH JUNE 2024.
