- This position requires the ability to perform cybersecurity assessments, analyse the findings, and formulate action plans to improve security measures.
- The ideal candidate will also have some experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and be passionate about contributing to a secure digital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Assessments
- Conduct thorough cybersecurity assessments of the organization’s systems, networks, and applications.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and methodologies to identify vulnerabilities and assess security risks.
Action Plan Development
- Analyze the output of cybersecurity assessments to identify areas of improvement.
- Build actionable and prioritized action plans to address identified vulnerabilities and enhance overall security.
Security Posture Recommendations
- Formulate recommendations to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture based on assessment findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement recommended security measures and best practices.
IAM Experience
- Demonstrate a foundational understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
- Contribute to IAM-related initiatives and projects to improve access controls and user authentication processes.
General Security Architect Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and implementation of secure and scalable architectures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements for new projects and applications.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to inform security strategies.

Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity-related role.
- Some experience in performing cybersecurity assessments and developing action plans.
IAM Knowledge
- Basic understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and practices.
- Familiarity with IAM tools and technologies is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and interpret cybersecurity assessment results.
- Ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Communication:
- Effective communication skills to convey cybersecurity concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to document and articulate security recommendations clearly.
Team Collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams to implement security measures.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic cybersecurity environment.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are a plus.
General Security Architect Skills:
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Knowledge of encryption technologies, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
